About Me... - SYLVIE LAFRENIERE

A few words about me ...

I was born in Montreal and attended Collège Marie de France for 12 years, then Marguerite-Bourgeoys Cegep, the Mother House Secretarial School and earned a bachelor's degree in Translation at Concordia University in 1982. After working at the Mayor of Westmount's office and as secretary to the Headmaster at Selwyn House (a private boys' school in Westmount), I became a real estate broker in 1984 and joined my mother's real estate brokerage firm. My mother was the first woman broker in Quebec, in the 1960s. Two years later, in 1986, I joined the RE/MAX Westmount team on Greene avenue, and have been there for over 30 years!

Throughout this time, I have earned every award destined to top earning brokers in Quebec: Hall of Fame, Platinum Club every year, etc. Every year, I place in the top best selling brokers at RE/MAX Action Westmount.
I take pride in putting myself in the clients' shoes and making sure that the real estate transaction is completed in the most efficient and friendly fashion. I often think "outside the box" and am very creative at problem solving. My clients say that I take their interest at heart. I am extremely well organized and very enthusiastic. I also love technology and own and use all the latest equipment.
My two children and I live in Westmount, and like to give back to the community as much as we can. We are strong supporters of the Quebec Breast Cancer Society and of Opération Enfant Soleil, also known as the Children’s Miracle Network, Salvation Army, Canadian Kidney Foundation, and other worthwhile causes. My passions are tennis and scuba diving (PADI Divemaster). References available upon request 
